Parrotheads, for those who don’t know, are the rabid fans of singer/songwriter Jimmy Buffet and they’re in for a big treat.
Parrots of the Caribbean, the ultimate salute to Jimmy Buffet, is coming to the brand new Chuck Mathena Center in Princeton Saturday September 13th as the headline entertainment for the first ever “Little Buddy Luau” in conjunction with Little Buddy Radio. She plans to attend the event to meet her late husband’s many fans, and came up with the idea of bringing the Buffet tribute to the area because of a huge personal appearance the Gilligan’s Island stars did on stage with Jimmy Buffet in the late 1990’s.
“It was a perfect combination of island castaways and island music. Jimmy Buffet fans went nuts when they saw the real Gilligan, Mary Ann and the Professor on stage with Jimmy. They just seemed to fit together”, remembers Ms. Denver.
The Parrots of the Caribbean perfectly replicate the Jimmy Buffet concert experience, with note-perfect renditions of the biggest Buffet hits including “Margaritaville”, “Come Monday”, “Son of a Sailor”, “Cheeseburger In Paradise” and “A Pirate Looks at Forty”.
